Workers’ Sports
Our traditions in workers’ sports play an important role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and in our efforts to ensure better balance between professional and personal life. The activities of the established sports sections and participation in workers’ championships are funded by the company.
Soccar enthusiasts take part in our mini-soccar team and achieve tournament success. Table tennis fans meet at the Asarel-Medet Table Tennis Sports Club, while the chess section plays an important role in organizing municipal tournaments. The hiking and tourism section is also active bringing together people who wish to explore the natural beauty of Bulgaria.
Asarel-Medet JSC participates annually in the Open Spartakiad of Industrial Workers. The team representing the company won first place in the overall standings in 2024. Our teams also took first place in individual competitions in mini-soccar, chess, table tennis, pétanque (men), darts (women), and the Fast Together joint relay.
