The core business of Asarel-Medet JSC includes mining and processing of copper ores, biochemical copper leaching and repairs, exploration, and engineering implementation activities. The company offers high-quality copper concentrate which is a commodity for smelters and cathode copper produced from copper pregnant solutions in a Solvent Extraction and Electrowinning Plant.
Approximately half of Bulgaria’s copper flotation concentrate is produced at the Mining and Processing Complex with a copper content of about 22% Cu, as well as cathode copper with a purity of 99.99% Cu,.
