Asarel-Medet JSC is a trade company registered in Bulgaria with a registered address and management address in Panagyurishte, Asarel site. The company operates as a concessionaire of the Asarel deposit and the Asarel deposit - West section based on concession agreements for ores and minerals mining concluded respectively on December 23, 1998 and March 19, 2012.
Asarel-Medet JSC is among the leading companies in the Bulgarian mining industry and is the largest private investor in the Pazardzhik region. We are the only company from the Panagyurishte municipality that finds a place in the media rankings of the hundred largest companies in the country.
The added value of one employee in the mining industry in the Panagyurishte municipality is several times higher than the national average and the company is among the 30 enterprises in our country with the largest contribution to household budgets. The proceeds from our activities form over 40% of the own revenues in the municipal budget of Panagyurishte. The mining industry forms over half of the added value of local companies.
