One of the most exciting days at Asarel-Medet is the Open Door Day for the children of our employees. The partnership initiative I am Proud of my Parents’ Labor is organized by the UN Global Compact Network Bulgaria in early November every when dozens of companies in the country welcome hundreds of girls and boys to talk about the value of work, professions of the future and work of their moms, dads and grandparents.
Children are our dearest guests every year and their adventures at Asarel trace the path of copper from a piece of ore to a modern smartphone. With us, they learn more about their parents' work, become curious about the world of minerals, take on the role of mine dispatchers, meet firefighters or participate in interesting chemical experiments, and our company broadcast features cheerful children's greetings for easy work and success from the "children of Asarel", as our little friends say.
