The Executive Director of Asarel-Medet JSC chairs the Executive Bureau, which includes: the company's Management Trustee, Galya Kostova, Eng. Ivan Cholakov - Operations Activities, Dr. Eng. Nikolay Minekov - Maintenance and Repairs Director, Momchil Mihaylov - Financial and Economic Activities Director, Lushka Palankalieva – Administrative and Regulatory Activities Director, Hristo Shindarov –Audit and Control Director, Eng. Ivaylo Vassilev –Innovations, Planning and Development Director and Boyko Gatev – Head of the Corporate Security Department.

 

Eng. Nikolay Peltekov

Executive Director of Asarel-Medet JSC

Eng. Nikolay Peltekov is the Executive Director of Asarel-Medet JSC and has been a member of the Management Board since 2023, having previously been the General Director of the company. He has been part of the company's team since 1997. Mr. Peltekov has proven his professionalism during his career growth as a long-standing member of the senior management team of Asarel-Medet JSC.

His professional development  startedas a mechanic and fitter at the Asarel mine, then became the head of the Cyclic Conveyor System and West Dump sections. He successively headed the Concentrator Plant Maintenance and Repairs Shop in the Maintenance and Repairs division, and the Repair Engineering Department. Mr. Peltekov became Executive Director of Asarel-Medet JSC on February 15, 2022, having previously been the Maintenance and Repairs Activities Director for 3 years.

Mr. Peltekov was born on December 5, 1971 in Panagyurishte. He graduated from the Department of Complex Mechanization and Production Conveyors at St. Ivan Rilski University of Mining and Geology. Married, with one child.
