Shared Values

Since 2003, Asarel-Medet JSC has upheld the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, guided by the conviction that they define the values underpinning the shared contemporary understanding of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.

As one of the founding members of the Bulgarian Network of the UN Global Compact and an active participant in its National Council, we are firmly committed to applying these principles in our corporate policies and practices. We are guided by the Sustainable Development Goals as we advance our seven strategic programs focused on production modernization, development of the mineral resources base, energy efficiency, environmental protection, occupational safety, investment in human capital, and corporate development.

We take pride in our innovation programs and look ahead to the new opportunities created by growing demand for copper as a critical and strategic raw material for the green economy, defense, and digital technologies.
