We share memorable moments with the guests of Asarel-Medet JSC through two corporate exhibitions created as a tribute to the work of generations of mining professionals. Dozens of reviews and messages from Bulgarian and international visitors are preserved in the company’s commemorative Book of Honour, which is part of the historical exhibition dedicated to the company’s 50th anniversary. Across its two halls, the exhibition features 557 exhibits, more than 250 photographs, and numerous personal and corporate mementos that tell the story of the people, achievements, and applications of copper in the past, present, and future. The exhibition opened on 27 August 2014, continuing the traditions of the former overview collection housed at the Cultural Center in the village of Panagyurski Kolonii.
Located in close proximity is our attractive outdoor collection of historic mining and flotation equipment, it is a favorite spot for visitors to take photographs, offering a journey back in time to the earlier stages of mining development and revealing what the giant mining machines of the mid-20th century looked like.
